Spring has arrived! It is time to bring out all your beautiful prints; Polka dots, Floral, Stripes, etc. It is time to be BOLD. It is time to stand out and make WEIRDNESS the new COOL. Don't settle to just fit in, have them stare. Remember they will LAUGH but then later COPY!

So, today I decided to welcome Spring with some dark colors. I took a pair of dark gray ankle pants my mom gave me a long time ago and matched them with a simple white T-shirt, and I didn't want to be on heels so I just went to my fiancee's closet and took these tennis shoes and put on. If you look closely, I also added a beautiful vintage belt to the outfit because I wanted a little color to complement the shoes. And to complete the look, I threw on an oversize unbuttoned shirt and carried my favorite purse (the hat was just for the sun). And voila, I was ready for church this morning. Dressing up doesn't have to be boring, be creative and have fun. Be confident because if you feel good, best believe that you look good too!!!

My baby became an American Citizen today and I couldn't be more proud of him. I wanted to make him look good (lol), so I threw on this amazing jumper which I wore before and this awesome oversize stripped blazer. To keep classy and vibrant, I added this beautiful blue diamond necklace and a gorgeous pair of yellow butterflied pumps that he bought me and I was set to go support him. Remember to always look your best and professional when you are going around people that are on that "suit and tie" daily business so that when you walk inside that building, not only will they look at you with an amazing look but they will also think that you are one of them. I loved when the security asked me "are you an attorney ma'am", I smiled and said "no I am just here to support my fiancee who just became a citizen." It's not called "cocky" it is confident. It is amazing when you are somewhere and you realized you just became the center of attention when you didn't even call for it. In addition, Keep shining ladies, not for the attention but because remember your body is the Temple of Christ so you should embrace it as such!

Au Printempts

Spring is right around the corner and you still have time to do some shopping to probably complete some outfit ideas you may have been thinking about. Spring is such a fun and graphic season. It is the season for the warmest colors to come out such as beautiful shades of green, yellow, blue, etc. In addition, it is also the mismatching season. As long as you know your criteria of mixing and mismatching your stripes, your tropical flowers, your polka dots, etc, you do not need to be an expert to rock those spring looks. Remember, the patterns always play big roles in Spring outfits. You can have neutral prints together, the same prints, or some prints with a nice warm color. Just be bold and explicit while keeping it easy, classy, simple, and vibrant. Get Ready to welcome Spring like you've never had before!

Pinksation

Many people struggle with what to wear on a rainy day. And the funny thing is, it is not so hard to pick out an outfit for the rain. Just remember when there is rain, the weather always drops so it will be a little cool, and also you don't want to wear anything too flat because 9 out of 10 you will have to walk somewhere that has some type of puddle. From there, you should be able to determine what to wear. However, you can choose to wear whatever color you think is appropriate for the moment or the event you are attending. As for me, I was going to church and also attending my baby cousin's Dedication. She is a precious little girl, so I thought what other color besides pink defines her. So, I threw on a beautiful pearly/pink sweater, a little vixen yet classy pink pleaded skirt and for the rain a pair of thigh high boots. Remember that other people's opinion should not matter to your style. Rock it and be confident because no one else can be a better you than YOU!
